Building Management Statements (BMS) are becoming an increasingly popular titling solution that allows mixed use stakeholders to keep their operations separate and legally document the shared areas/facilities between the group.
Each development is unique and formulating a BMS requires specialised consulting and ongoing management to ensure a successful and proactive outcome for all stakeholders.
SSKB has a specialist team to manage all aspects of BMS, from the initial creation with our Developer Consultancy team, through to the exceptional financial management and dispute resolution provided by our dedicated BMS Community Managers.
The strata Developer Consultancy team works alongside developers, solicitors and surveyors to lock in the development advice, design and shared areas/facilities before delivery to specialist BMS Community Managers after registration.
Our program includes:
- Participate and facilitate a BMS Workshop to define title boundaries and shared areas/facilities with the solicitor, surveyor and clients
- Review of individual clauses within the BMS, including a schedule of recommended changes and additions to ensure optimal effectiveness of the BMS
- Recommendations for capital works and insurance policies for lots tied to the BMS
- Provide information on the operational management goal of the BMS from a Strata Management perspective
